At one customer site alone we found over 5,000 unique feature names, so this list is not complete. See some of the features and programs we have been working with over the years below. If you don't see a specific feature here, it doesn't mean we don't support it.

Aspen HYSYS® CatGas HydrotreaterAspen HYSYS ® CatGas Hydrotreatermodel is a pair of models that simulate the processing of gasoline streams thatare fed directly into the blending pool from other major process units,typically the FCC. The pair of models is comprised of a selectivehydrogenation unit (SHU) designed to remove di-olefins and convert sulfides inorder to clean the lighter part of the naphtha. The second unit of the pair isa specialized hydro-desulfurization (HDS) unit designed to remove sulfur andother contaminants while preserving the octane number. Aspen HYSYS® CatCrackerAspen HYSYS ® CatCrackeris used to simulate a refinery FCC reactor (Fluid Catalytic Cracker)unit. The core model is a rigorous reactor and regenerator flowsheet withmultiple lump reactor kinetics, rigorous regenerator coke burning kinetics, andheat balance between the reactor and regenerator via the catalyst circulation.Reactor models are open and customizable by the user, and are fully integratedwith the Aspen HYSYS ® process model. There can bemultiple configurations for the FCC reactor and regenerator system. All majoroperational FCC reactor variables are available such as feed rate, feedcomposition, feed temperature, reactor outlet temperature, catalyst activity,catalyst type, catalyst cooler duty, etc.
