If you'd like a user flair reflecting that.CSS credit. I have been working on setting up an 'as portable as possible' Emulation Station configuration. Basically involves a couple of batch files and a couple additional programs to set up.

Can be copied to a USB stick or dropbox and run from another computer without having to change any paths. This configuration is set so that all emulators and roms are within folders in the Emulation Station folder. Its similar to a setup i have. To make things easier here is a link to EmulationStation Setup Assistant, it was made by someone on here and file loading was added by me. It can be used to easily edit your systems config file.EDIT: sadly some of the improvements and features used on retropie weren't back ported to the windows version.

The developer too has stopped developing the project so theres no plan to add things like controller remapping support or support for it to make retroarch controller config files. Are you referring to the actual EmulationStation developer?

I know there was a fork being developed, but before posting this I checked it out and attempted to download, but Chrome thought it might be infected and I didn't feel like dealing with that.I think I took a quick look at the setup assistant that you are referring to when it was originally posted, but I haven't looked too deep. It was posted sometime in the last 6 months right? I think I downloaded it and saved it somewhere to look into later. Filename is 'ESSCG V1.zip' right?.

Yes, i e-mailed the ES developer a while back to see if he was still developing it or why exactly the raspberry pi retropi builds had these features but the windows version didnt and some advice on perhaps porting them to the windows build, but im a C# developer and its written in C+ so its not an easy thing for me to do.as far as the Assistant i posted, im not sure. Its probably been about 6 months if not more, but the guy posted it and it didnt have a 'Load' feature so while it could write a config making edits to the one that a already existing one wasn't possible. So i wrote a loader function to read the xml in and then since it could already save it out, it wasnt an issue. Then after i posted it then he posted an update with loading working so since i had what i needed working i didnt bother to go back and take a look at how he originally did it.the thing still feels a little clunky but at least its better then digging in the raw xml. I tried this a couple days ago and it worked just fine but suring a reinstall I accidently deleted it. Thanks so much, was struggling like crazy with this before. Found a small error in the startemulator.cmd for dolphin.

Should look like this::DOLPHINstart 'autohotkey' /d%AUTOHOTKEY% 'AutoHotkeyU64.exe' Mouse.ahkFOR /f 'tokens= '%%D IN ('dir /b '%dp0dolphin') Do (FOR /f 'tokens=.' %%A IN ('dir /b '%dp0%%DDolphin.exe') DO ('%dp0%%D%%A' -b -e%2))goto:EXITChanged '/b /e' to '-b -e'. The only thing I can't get to work so far is CEMU exit autohotkey shortcut, it doesn't seem to work at all, any ideas? Exit works with retroarch and dolphin. Thanks again.
